Pet Portraits

Pet Portraits are some of my favorite subjects to paint in watercolor! Each pet portrait is carefully created from your favorite photos, preserving the details and memories that make them special to you!

Please pick a photo (or a few) of your pet before moving to the next steps of the commission process.

After choosing your photo(s), all you have to do is choose your artistic STYLE and SIZE! (see below)

Watercolor paintings

Watercolor paintings are known for their vibrant colors and effortless movement across the surface of the painting. Watercolors are perfect for small details like your pet’s fur or eyes, all things that I get to spend hours painting and having lots of fun doing so! Watercolor paintings are done on museum-grade paper and painted with high-pigmented paints to ensure longevity and quality.

2. Choose a size

All commissioned pieces are shipped without frames. For convenience, most artworks are created in standard frame sizes to make displaying them easy. The orientation—portrait or landscape—will be chosen based on what suits your photo(s) best. Available size options are listed here!

Important information:

1. After placing your order, you’ll receive an email from me—just reply with your reference photo. If you’re unsure which one to use, feel free to send multiple. I can help select the best option, and extra photos are always helpful for capturing details.

PROCESS

2. Before I begin, I’ll check in to confirm the selected photo(s).. Painting take anywhere from a few days, to a couple weeks depending on size and complexity.

3. Because watercolor is a permanent medium, revisions are not part of my process. By purchasing, you acknowledge that all sales are final, with full refunds available only within 14 days of purchase.

4. Once your portrait is complete, it will be carefully packaged and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

TURNAROUND

  • I often have many portraits on a waitlist and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If your painting is time-sensitive, I can often accommodate it for an additional fee.

  • Once a project is started, I can usually get it shipped within a month from the start date

WANT MORE?

Most of my paintings are done very similarly: one pet, white background, headshot, or full body.
